Job summary

Intrepid is seeking a Part Time Electrical Engineer to support PdM WESS SATCOM projects across military communications systems. You will perform moderately complex electrical engineering tasks, troubleshoot, and assist with installation and fielding of equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of experience in electrical/electronic systems, with ability to work autonomously at various sites and coordinate with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of electrical/electronic systems experience.
Experience with military SATCOM or C5ISR is preferred.
Ability to work with government customers.
Willingness to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Support design, modification, integration, installation, and testing of electrical systems.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
Perform wiring, termination, and equipment interconnection.
Troubleshoot and identify root causes; provide corrective actions.
Coordinate activities with engineering, logistics, and field teams.
Prepare documentation and technical reports.
Assist with field testing and deployment of SATCOM equipment.
