Qualifications

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to support an engineering services contract in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior personnel with the mission essential testing of shipboard electronic components.
• Execute tests using test equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Signal Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Function Generators, Power Supplies, and custom test setups.
• Collect and analyze test data/results, document results, and write reports. Provide analysis of results to Engineering and R&D team members.
• Support the design packaging line layouts, Equipment P&ID's, and packaging Component Data.
• Analyze equipment failures and provide solutions and recommendations on areas of improvement.
• Execute technical judgement and decision making.
• Utilize critical thinking in support of both land base and shipboard test events.
• Maintain multiple different types of custom test equipment.
• Create observation reports, test reports, trip summaries and other associated mission related documentation.

Required

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
• 0-5 years of experience.
• Experience to include data analysis, test setup / execution, documentation of test events.
• Ability to travel 50% - 60%.

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
