Job summary

Comrise is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support robotics electrical development for a leading medical technology organization in Weston, Florida. This role is an individual contributor position requiring independent work, sound engineering judgment, and contribution to electrical systems used in advanced robotic technologies.

Responsibilities include design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, electrical architecture, controls, wiring, and power systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with electrical engineering and/or robotics development.
• Understanding of electrical systems, controls, wiring, power distribution, motors, and related components.
• Ability to apply engineering concepts and procedures to practical technical problems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound engineering judgment.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to support project and product development activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, reports, and other engineering deliverables.
• Identify issues, troubleshoot electrical systems, and recommend appropriate solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with electrical engineering and/or robotics development.
• Understanding of electrical systems, controls, wiring, power distribution, motors, and related components.
• Ability to apply engineering concepts and procedures to practical technical problems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound engineering judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing electrical systems for robotics or automated equipment.
• Experience with electrical controls, motor systems, sensors, wiring, and power electronics.
• Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, prototyping, or system integration.
• Experience working in a highly regulated or product-development environment is a plus.
