US Army Corps of Engineers seeks a highly qualified Electrical Engineer (Reliability Compliance) to plan, develop, and coordinate the project’s portion of the Reliability Program. You will serve as the technical authority for reliability compliance with operations, maintenance, and management teams.

You will develop and execute QA processes to ensure compliance with NERC/WECC standards, and support major non-routine upgrades from scoping to commissioning.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• Professional registration or licensure (EI/EIT/PE) or FE examination.
• 60 semester hours in physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences as required.
• Experience analyzing policies, procedures and governing regulations; experience with power generation, transmission, distribution, or SCADA.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate implementation of the project’s portion of the NWW Reliability Compliance Program.
• Serve as Project POC and technical authority for reliability compliance with operations, maintenance and management groups.
• Represent the Project at meetings and conferences on reliability compliance and related technical matters.
• Develop and execute the District’s NERC/WECC compliance QA program and maintain auditable documentation.
• Support major non-routine system upgrades and replacements from scoping/design to commissioning and close out.
• Ensure compliance of industrial control systems with Army and USACE standards.
