Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee design for Liquids Pump station facilities supporting expansion and maintenance capital projects. You will coordinate with third-party engineering firms, ensure compliance with standards and budgets, and contribute to deliverables across drawings, reports and material lists.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Minimum of 4 years of industry experience preferred.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

Manage third-party engineering consultants to meet quality standards while maintaining budget and schedule.
Ensure pump station facilities are designed in accordance with regulations, industry codes and corporate standards.
Design electrical components and interconnections.
Review and approve design deliverables (drawings, technical reports, material lists).
Participate in design review meetings with project teams to discuss scope, design, and constructability issues.
Review vendor quotations, prepare technical evaluations, and recommend selections based on technical merit, price and delivery.
Identify and communicate lessons learned and quality incidents for assigned projects.
