Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an Enbridge project in Houston, TX. You will oversee the design for liquids pump station facilities, coordinating with third-party engineering firms to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with budget and schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least 4 years of industry experience. Strong communication and independent project management skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of industry experience.
• Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks.
• Problem solve issues through use of standards and/or prior experience.
• Effectively communicate technical issues and impacts to other staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design for liquids pump station facilities to meet standards and budget.
• Coordinate with third-party engineering firms to ensure design deliverables meet quality standards.
• Ensure pump station facilities are designed in accordance with regulations and corporate standards.
• Design electrical components and interconnects.
• Review design deliverables and participate in design reviews with stakeholders.
• Review vendor quotations, evaluate and select equipment based on merit, price and delivery.
• Identify lessons learned and support department initiatives.
