Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degrees a plus.
• 3–5 years of Electrical Engineer experience in the defense sector.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems.
• Analytical skills to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for non-engineering stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; time management.
• Must qualify for and maintain Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design electrical systems, circuits, and components based on project requirements.
• Perform load calculations and power distribution analyses for compliance.
• Build prototypes, perform testing, troubleshoot, and support production liaison.
• Prepare detailed wiring diagrams, harness assemblies, and design specs.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate systems.
• Ensure safety and design standards compliance (NEC, IEC, SAE, etc.).
• Stay up-to-date with advancements and propose innovations.
• Plan and conduct tests to ensure performance and reliability.
