Job summary

Taurus is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Port Lavaca, Texas office. This full-time, onsite role will be assigned at a client location in Point Comfort, TX, and involves power system design, procurement support, and delivering engineering documentation to drive project success.

You will read and interpret drawings, develop field instructions, provide project estimates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Control Systems Engineering degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and develop engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Power system design, procurement, and documentation to support projects.
• Develop field instructions.
• Engineering estimates.
• Read, interpret, and approve engineering drawings and specifications.
• Engineering support for Electrical discipline with ability to work independently.
• Provide Electrical Engineering support for assigned projects.
• Providing estimates of work to be performed.
