Job summary

Stealth Startup in Ohio is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and analyze electrical and electro‑mechanical systems, collaborating with engineers and technicians to deliver robust products.

The role emphasizes 2D/3D CAD, BOM management in ERP, PLM/PDM usage, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards. Onsite work in Geneva, Ohio with cross‑functional teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of full-time Electrical Engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD for electrical systems design.
• Professional experience with PLM/PDM software.
• Electrical enclosure layouts.
• Experience with engineering project management tools.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

Responsibilities

• Design power systems, including VFDs.
• Create 2D CAD designs for electrical systems; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Develop 3D electrical enclosure layouts with mechanical engineers.
• Provide technical direction to designers and technicians.
• Use PDM/PLM software for revision control.
• Create and edit BOMs using ERP software (SAP preferred).
• Apply knowledge of analog and digital electrical circuits and components.
• Work with RS232/RS422/RS485, CAN bus, LVSB, and Ethernet.
• Follow standard project management practices and mitigate risks.
