Job summary

TechPro Power Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Crown Point, Indiana. The role focuses on power system analysis, electrical design, and supporting engineering solutions for government, healthcare, commercial, and manufacturing clients.

You will conduct short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies using SKM, ETAP, or Easy Power, develop models from single-line diagrams, and generate CAD drawings for project teams.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required.
• Proficiency with electrical analysis tools (SKM/ETAP/Easy Power).
• Strong MS Office and AutoCAD skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license; able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies using SKM, ETAP, or Easy Power.
• Prepare engineering reports and present findings with actionable recommendations.
• Develop electrical models from single-line diagrams or field notes; create CAD drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers to address engineering challenges during execution.
• Conduct occasional on-site evaluations and field data gathering.
