Job summary

You will develop excitation systems, starting frequency converters, and protection systems from concept through delivery. You will work with experts across disciplines, engage customers directly, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment driving the energy transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in power generation/oil & gas/industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics, generation, transmission systems, and electrical machines.
• Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving and customer-focused collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from design initiation through final documentation.
• Collaborate with teams and customers to develop optimized engineering solutions.
• Provide technical support on excitation and control equipment including troubleshooting and upgrades.
• Contribute to training and development of other engineers.
• Support product development through testing, validation, and process improvement.
• Serve as SME for Hotline Support Team, resolving inquiries.
• Travel to customer sites up to 30% for data collection, commissioning, and validation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

5+ years of electrical engineering experience

Strong knowledge of power electronics, power generation, transmission systems, and electrical machines

Analytical problem-solving and communication skills
