Jacobs is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer in Burlington, VT to join a collaborative engineering team focused on complex facilities and semiconductor tools. You will manage electrical power distribution across active buildings and develop layouts using CAD/BIM tools.
The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years of experience, and knowledge of NFPA 70. FE is desirable, with onsite expectations and potential travel.
Competenze
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related applicable field.
- 2+ years of Electrical Engineering Experience.
- FE is highly desired, must be actively pursuing FE.
- Working knowledge with National Electrical Code (NFPA 70).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software.
Mansioni
- Perform electrical circuit assignments for facility systems.
- Analyze and validate electrical loading for: switchboards, distribution boards, and panel boards.
- Support power distribution across multiple buildings.
- Develop and review electrical layouts using CAD/BIM tools.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in active environments.
- Help maintain safe, reliable, and efficient electrical system operations.
