Job summary

LITEON is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our U.S. team in Austin, TX, focusing on high-power hardware design and power electronics development. You will collaborate with firmware and software groups to ensure reliable operation and system-level integration.

You will design power electronics circuits, support PCB layout and validation, and work with mechanical teams on enclosures and thermal solutions while adhering to EMI/EMC and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or related field.
  • 0–2+ years of experience in high-power hardware design.
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics and high-voltage systems.
  • Experience with PCB design and hardware validation.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Power Electronics & Hardware Design: design and develop power electronics circuits for high-power products.
  • System & Cross-Functional Collaboration: coordinate with firmware/software teams for interfaces and system integration.
  • PCB Design & Validation: lead or support schematic design, PCB layout review, and verification.
  • Compliance, Testing & Reliability: support EMI/EMC, safety, and reliability testing.
  • Documentation & Industry Awareness: maintain design docs and stay updated on trends.
