Edison Smart® in Midland, Texas, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. You will focus on power distribution and electrical design, delivering projects from concept to commissioning.
The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, strong VFDS knowledge, and hands-on experience with electrical design software, protecting standards compliance and project success.
Competenze
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering.
- Solid understanding of VFDS.
- Proven experience in electrical design and power distribution systems.
- Experience with electrical design software.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation and engineering reports.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
Mansioni
- Prepare electrical calculations, load assessments, fault level studies, and cable sizing.
- Produce and review electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Support the delivery of electrical design projects from concept through to commissioning.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Assist in identifying and implementing innovative engineering solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
