Qualifications

Our client, a prominent utility infrastructure company, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team in Upington, Northern Cape. This role is critical for the design, development, and maintenance of power distribution networks, ensuring reliable and efficient energy supply to the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, power generation, transmission, and distribution principles. You will be involved in all phases of project execution, from feasibility studies and design to commissioning and operational support. Key Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of power system components, protection relays, and substation design.
• Experience with project management principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Familiarity with the energy sector in the Northern Cape region is beneficial.
