Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer in our Power Engineering group. The role can be based in Lone Tree, CO, among other U.S. offices.

You will join a high‑performing design engineering team delivering world‑class power facilities with constructability and safety focus from day one. Responsibilities include evaluating engineering techniques, preparing specifications, coordinating design with partners, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting construction activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited).
• EIT license or ability to obtain licensure.
• At least 3 years of power engineering experience.
• Familiar with basic computer operation and introductory programming.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques for large power projects.
• Prepare specifications and coordinate design with construction partners.
• Prepare electrical designs including schematics and calculations.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule.
