Job summary

Mannik Smith Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer - PE to join their MEP team in Sanford, FL. This role involves leading the design and implementation of electrical systems, performing critical calculations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a PE license or be an EIT with the capability to obtain a PE within 6 months. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or EIT with ability to obtain PE within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integrated electrical systems.
• Perform electrical calculations, including load analysis and sizing.
• Conduct hazard analysis and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Oversee work of Electrical Designers and review design accuracy.

Skills

Electrical design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit)

Electrical analysis software (EasyPower, SKM PowerTools, ETAP)

Lighting analysis software (ElumTools, Agi-32)

Strong understanding of electrical systems

Project management and organizational skills

Proficiency in MS Office

Education
