Job summary

Clark Nexsen is seeking an Electrical Engineer (PE) to lead electrical design on building projects for commercial and government facilities. The role covers concept through construction with client interaction and coordination across disciplines.

-qualified candidates will have ABET credentials, 7+ years' leadership experience, and a PE license in at least one state; CDT/CCS/CCCA are welcomed. The position offers a hybrid work model with offices in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited 4- or 5-year engineering program in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of design and leadership experience in electrical engineering environments.
• Fully licensed Professional Engineer in at least one US state (preferably local).
• CDT/CCS/CCCA certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design for building projects of moderate to large scope.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams to define scope and deliverables.
• Supervise EITs and designers; ensure quality control and compliance with standards.
• Provide on-site representation during construction and respond to RFIs.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to professional development.
