Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design on multi-discipline building projects for commercial, municipal, university and government facilities. Flexible work location options include Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Virginia Beach, VA; or Macon, GA.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with other disciplines, prepare design development documents, and support bidding and construction phase services.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited 4- to 5-year engineering degree is required.
• PE license in at least one US state preferred.
• Leadership experience on electrical design projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on multi-discipline building projects.
• Coordinate with project managers and other disciplines.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Prepare construction documents and respond to RFIs.
