Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Texas Professional Engineer exam.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas.

Job description

Purpose:

To serve as a member of Client’s electrical design team and to assist the team in production of high-quality contract documents for the firm’s clients, ensuring that the process fulfils the Client’s vision and mission.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Successful completion of the State of Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) examination
• Registered as a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of building codes
• Previous experience in a MEP consulting environment
• Experience in the design of lighting and lighting controls, fire alarms, power and power distribution, technology systems, as well as other standard electrical systems for commercial
