Job summary

Jobot seeks a senior electrical design leader in New Jersey to drive multiple concurrent projects, oversee the electrical group, and ensure technical and financial success while keeping client satisfaction high. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in electrical design, 2-4+ years in project management, an ABET-accredited EE degree, and a NJ or NY PE license (or reciprocity).

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required; LEED AP is a plus.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required.
• Active NJ or NY PE license or reciprocity ability.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering design experience with 2-4+ years in project management.
• Experience on building projects; proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD; strong client-facing communication.
• LEED AP is desirable but not required.

Lead electrical design teams across concurrent projects and manage projects to achieve financial and technical success while maintaining client satisfaction. Support the Principal in managing and guiding the Electrical Group, resolve technical challenges, and present solutions to clients and senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

Requires 8+ years of electrical engineering design experience, including 2-4+ years as a project manager, a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, and an active New Jersey or New York PE license or the ability to obtain reciprocity. Candidates should have relevant building-project experience, proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD, strong client-facing communication skills, and knowledge of electrical analysis and lighting design tools; LEED AP is desired but not required.
