Job summary

Freeform is seeking an Electrical Engineer (New Grad Summer 2027) to design and develop electronics for our AI-native manufacturing systems in Hawthorne, CA. You will work on PCB and compute system design, driving projects from cradle to grave with a cross-functional team.

Ideal candidates have a BS in electrical or computer engineering, hands-on internship/club experience, and ability to tackle problems from first principles in a rapid, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Hands-on electrical experience from internships or clubs (FSAE, Baja SAE, etc.).
• Strong fundamentals and ability to solve problems from first principles.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly design, develop and test reliable electronics and PCBs.
• Model and simulate circuit designs for analysis and performance.
• Contribute to electrical architecture, requirements, component selection, bring-up, and test.
• Hands-on debugging using lab equipment and custom instrumentation.
