Job summary

Freeform seeks an Electrical Engineer (New Grad Summer 2027) to design, develop, and test electronics and PCBs for AI-native manufacturing systems. You will work across hardware and software to integrate compute systems with custom electronics in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes first-principles problem solving, cradle-to-grave project ownership, and cross-functional collaboration with engineers from leading companies.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent.
• Hands-on electrical experience from clubs or internships.
• Strong grounding in electrical engineering fundamentals and first-principles thinking.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly design, develop and test highly reliable electronics and PCBs.
• Model and simulate circuit designs for analysis and performance.
• Contribute to electrical architecture, product requirements, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, documentation, product management, productization, manufacturing, and test.
• Drive component selection, analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test.
• Hands-on debugging of the unexpected with lab equipment and custom setups.
