Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work on research, design, testing, and production of electronic systems for our gaming product lines in Reno, Nevada. The role involves designing new PCB assemblies, debugging with lab equipment, and collaborating with fellow engineers to solve complex hardware challenges.

You will contribute to analog and digital circuitry, microprocessor-based designs, and firmware for hardware developed by Bally, with opportunities to work independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical engineering design, analysis and testing.
• Experience with digital and microprocessor-based circuits.

Responsibilities

• Designs new electronic circuit board assemblies based on required specifications using proper engineering techniques.
• Troubleshooting of designs using test equipment and proper analysis techniques.
• Collaborates with other engineers to solve technical problems and explores alternative components for procurement needs.
• Creates firmware for electrical hardware designed by Bally.
• Performs most assignments independently under direction from senior engineers.
