Job summary

Boyd Thermal Solutions Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineering Professional near Fredericksburg, VA to design, develop and evaluate electronic components and circuits as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering thermal test solutions to the semiconductor industry.

You will create electrical product designs, select components, draft schematics, and assist in PCB layout (Altium). You’ll lead testing, analysis, and documentation, and collaborate with customers to gather specifications and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in electronics.
• Experience with schematic capture, PCB design and firmware validation.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical product designs within an inter-disciplinary team.
• Select components, create schematics, and assist PCB layout.
• Lead feasibility studies and testing for production launches.
• Develop test plans and perform engineering analyses.
• Maintain product documentation and reports.
• Engage with customers to gather specifications and schedule expectations.
