Job summary

Boyd Corp is seeking an Electrical Engineering Professional to design, develop and evaluate electronic parts for hardware systems. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver innovative thermal test solutions for semiconductors.

Responsibilities include creating electrical designs, selecting components, PCB layout (Altium preferred), and leading qualification testing. Strong analysis, documentation and teamwork are essential to support production launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Must be located within 50 miles of Fredericksburg, VA; no relocation offered.
• Active duty military are exempt from these requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts and assemblies for hardware systems.
• Create electrical product designs within an inter-disciplinary team to address manufacturing challenges.
• Lead feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
• Develop test plans, engineering analyses and qualification tests for production launch.
• Maintain product documentation and test procedures; produce design/test reports.
