Job summary

TAP Engineering LLC, located in Columbia, MD, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. You will design electrical components and PCBs, perform analyses, and contribute to prototype fabrication and testing.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of PCB design experience (Altium preferred). A Master’s degree and security clearance are a plus. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience designing PCBs, including schematic capture and routing in CAD software (e.g., Altium).
• Experience developing electronics test requirements, plans, and procedures at the system and component level.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical components and systems, including schematic capture and routing layout for PCBs.
• Perform engineering analyses.
• Fabricate, assemble, and qualify first article prototypes.
• Develop and execute test plans and procedures.
