Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Endwell, NY to design, develop, and test electrical parts. You will review schematics, create PCB layouts, and debug HW/SW while engaging with customers and vendors.

The role involves PCB rework, soldering, and scripting for firmware and test automation. 1–3 years of experience and a US work eligibility are required; relocation to the Endwell area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 1-3 years of experience; co-op and internships considered.
• Experience with PCB tools is required.
• Familiar with C, C#, FPGA, or Python is ideal.
• Experience using test tools such as meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship and relocate to Endwell, NY area.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design, development, and testing of parts.
• Review and create schematics and PCB layouts.
• Debug hardware and software.
• Perform PCB rework, soldering, and component replacement.
• Create scripts for firmware and test equipment automation.
• Interact with customers and vendors.
