Job summary

The Judge Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join as a hybrid employee, delivering technical guidance for electrical projects and supporting maintenance activities to enhance site safety and efficiency. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience and a strong background in industrial electrical equipment, PLCs, and control systems.

The position offers a hybrid work model with in-person collaboration at the Phoenix hub or site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 3 years of experience with medium voltage equipment.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with industrial electrical equipment and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of electrical engineering with an understanding of mechanical and process engineering techniques.
• Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Familiarity and some experience in electronics, PLCs, and control systems.
• Skill in managing small to medium engineering projects.
• Ability to evaluate and implement new methods and techniques for operational improvement.
• Broad knowledge of national electrical safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations appropriate to your area of assignment.
• Administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
• Support or lead company-sponsored steering committees, task forces, or teams.

Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually

Our clients' global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Hybrid employee, you'll engage in virtual collaboration as well as attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix or at one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration. In-person attendance may vary based on the position and department requirements.

What You Will Do

In this role, you provide technical advice and guidance for assigned electrical engineering and maintenance projects while supporting electrical projects utilizing new technology to continuously upgrade and improve site safety, operational and maintenance efficiencies, cost controls, quality controls, and environmental protection.

• Manage and support small to medium site engineering or maintenance projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and three (3) years of experience in engineering or field work with medium voltage industrial electrical equipment; OR
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and two (2) years of experience in engineering or field work with medium voltage industrial electrical equipment.
• Working knowledge and experience with industrial electrical equipment and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of electrical engineering with an understanding of mechanical and process engineering techniques.
• Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
