Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, applications, and global engineering.

Salary Range: $85,000.00 To $95,000.00 Annually

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our fast-paced, diverse, and safety-centric team. This role will work on real-world applications involving motors, drives, and robotics. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, solutions-oriented engineer who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems and collaborating across teams.

A typical day as an Electrical Engineer includes:

• Supporting design, testing, and integration of mechatronic systems across HIWIN Corporation’s product portfolio
• Troubleshooting and optimizing electrical and motion control systems, including servo tuning and multi-axis performance
• Testing and validating motors, drives, and controllers to ensure performance meets specifications

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engin eering: Equivalent degrees in Mechatronics Engineering with a concentration in Controls Engineering will be considered
• 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, automation, robotics, or mechatronics
• Experience with motors, servo drives, or motion control systems
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python
• Understanding of control systems, servo tuning, and motion control principles
• Exposure to industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Modbus)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, learning-oriented mindset

A team member's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location and prevailing minimum wage, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.

Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm in Huntly, IL. Remote, hybrid, or relocation services are not available.
