Job summary

Stefanini Group is hiring an Electrical Engineer in Alcoa, TN for a contract, long-term engagement. This role provides engineering support to maintenance, safety, quality, and operations to restore product flow and develop system improvements.

Key tasks include troubleshooting electrical and process problems, leading small-to-medium projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 10% and after-hours on-call support are possible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college/university.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an electrical engineering field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles.
Preferred: PLCs (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley) and motor drives experience.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to maintenance and operations across the department including restoring flow during breakdowns and developing preventative maintenance systems (including during the off shift).
Troubleshoot equipment and process problems to root cause, providing engineered solutions to these problems.
Manage large equipment rebuilds – development, justification, management, and implementation of these projects.
Develop into the technical equipment expertise for the department and provide technical leadership.
Support the department's Quality, Safety, and Environmental goals.
All other tasks and duties as assigned.
