Job summary

Constellation is seeking Engineers at mid-level E02 or senior E03 in Illinois to support nuclear plant operations through advanced technical problem solving and oversight of engineering programs. The role demands strong knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations, with responsibilities spanning analysis, problem solving, and technical leadership to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s in engineering and 2–5 years of nuclear experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Mid-level).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of nuclear experience (Senior).
• Maintain minimum access requirements and pass medical exams as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Identify and resolve equipment and system problems as a subject matter expert.
• Lead short- and long-term programs impacting site operations.
• Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles and code compliance.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely work with proper configuration management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear)

5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience
