Job summary

Constellation is seeking engineers to perform advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. The role acts as a technical expert to engineers and makes important design decisions.

Open at Mid-level (E02) or Senior (E03) level, with minimum qualifications including a bachelor’s degree in engineering and nuclear experience. Preferred PE registration is noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and nuclear or related engineering experience at the specified levels.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement as a subject matter expert.
• Directly fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs.
• Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles.
• Ensure proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures and codes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience
