Job summary

Archer-Elgin Engineering, Surveying and Architecture in Rolla, Missouri, seeks an Electrical Engineer to work on municipal infra projects and collaborate with Project Managers to prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications for construction packages.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
Missouri EIT or PE License required.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively under the direction of Project Managers and Project Engineers.
Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications for construction work packages.
Work with Designers and CAD Technicians to develop drawings compliant with national design standards, safety codes, and project requirements.
Designs may include facility electric service entrance equipment sizing, riser diagrams, one-line diagrams, feeders, protection sizing and coordination, control schematics, SCADA systems, site layouts, and grounding systems.
Cross-functional assignments in adjacent industries (Water, Wastewater, Power Distribution, Civil/Structures).
