Under the United States (U.S.) Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) program, Team V2X will provide: global multi-disciplined engineering; facilities; sustainment and maintenance of non-standard (non-Program of Record) and Program of Record intelligence systems to include the integration of new intelligence technologies and capabilities; Portal management; hardware design and integration; network management; technology development and application; and supply chain / logistics support to INSCOM, U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), Army Intelligence, Joint Forces, Combatant Commands, and the Intelligence Community (IC). Team V2X will enable INSCOM’s mission of anticipating requirements and employing innovative techniques to equip and sustain Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities. As a dedicated partner to INSCOM G4, Team V2X is committed to enhancing readiness as part of Combined, Joint, and IC interdependent teams supporting tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, ground and aerial intelligence equipment, operation facilities, and infrastructure from multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.

This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities

  • Support efforts to provide master planning and repair support for INSCOM facility management and Army SCIF design, including remote hazardous locations with generator power distribution systems.
  • Provide base maintenance operations; establish procedures and policies for electrical distribution plan operations.
  • Investigate and determine facility requirements relating to unit relocations, realignment, transfer, and equipment de-installation and installation.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software designers / engineers and analysts to develop, coordinate, analyze, and evaluate hardware, software, or systems modeling and simulation-based studies.
  • Examine ramifications of output and design interfaces with various design systems.
  • Perform engineering assignments of an analysis, design, or test nature - requiring application of complex techniques and procedures.
  • Prepare engineering analysis of construction projects to include preliminary design, calculation, life cycle cost and equipment selection.
  • Provide guidance for the mitigation of electromagnetic interference from and carried by electrical and power distribution systems.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college / university with at least six (6) years of diversified engineering experience in medium or low voltage power electrical equipment, integration and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Professional registration is desirable but not mandatory.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be a US Citizen with Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation, and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) IAW ICD 704.
  • Some positions or assignments may require a Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph, especially those requiring access to TDN2.

Experience / Skills:

  • Experience with installation and maintenance of low voltage (480/220) 50/60 Hz single and multiple phase wiring.
  • Electrical Engineering experience with an architecture and/or engineering consulting firm.
  • Experience with contracting and construction management preferred.
  • Experience with plant operations, maintenance, and repair of physical plant systems and equipment including campus type power generation and distribution systems.
  • Application engineering with experience in design, installation, operation, and maintenance of power generation, distribution, and grounding systems.
  • Experience with uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for ADP and communications equipment.
  • Ability to perform critical engineering reviews of construction project data submissions.
  • Ability to provide input in master planning for long-range facility management and information management.
  • Knowledge of and experience in power and grounding principles and techniques.
  • Fluent in English including the ability to read, write and comprehend technical documentation, schematics and diagrams written under the ANSI standards.
