Job summary

AFRY is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Appleton, WI to own engineering tasks across industrial environments. The role involves designing electrical systems, producing drawings, and supporting project scoping and documentation.

You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compliant project execution. Travel to client sites is expected as needed, with opportunities for growth within a global engineering group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–6+ years of engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing/utilities environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical design including power distribution, controls, instrumentation, and system protection.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify electrical systems, equipment, and power distribution for client facilities.
• Produce and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Support project scoping, estimating, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, clients, and vendors to ensure safe, high quality project execution.
• Lead or support field activities including assessments, construction support, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure all solutions meet codes, standards, and AFRY’s quality and safety expectations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice development within the Appleton engineering group.
