Job summary

Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, owning data-center-scale electrical systems and storage integration. This role engineers the electrical side of behind-the-meter generation and ensures fast-build, scalable plant designs within a data-center campus.

You will work on generator interconnections, islanded operation, and integration of storage with generation, advancing grid-compatible designs and high-uptime operation.

Qualifications

• Engineered electrical systems for power generation, microgrids, or utility-scale storage.
• Designed generator interconnections and the studies behind them.
• Understands islanded operation and protection/stability.

Responsibilities

• Engineer the electrical side of behind-the-meter generation: collection, interconnection, and integration with the data center.
• Design the electrical balance of plant: generator connections, transformers, and switchgear for fast-build plants.
• Run the studies for islanded and grid-parallel operation: stability, grounding, and protection coordination.
• Integrate storage and generation electrically into one controllable campus system.
