Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, seeks an Electrical Engineer with 1+ years of experience in consulting engineering to join our Lafayette, CA office. You will design electrical systems for energy-efficient buildings, collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality projects.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in Electrical Engineering, experience with Revit/AutoCAD, and a proactive, client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with MEP design.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• FE registration preferred with potential for PE registration.
• Experience with Revit/AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and controls for projects.
• Coordinate with owners, clients, architects, and contractors.
• Evaluate and apply engineering techniques to meet project requirements.
• Review submittals and ensure conformance with contract documents.
• Lead design phases from concept to construction.
