Job summary

Del Medical in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and optimize electrical systems for our radiographic imaging equipment. You’ll work on schematics, PCB layouts, motor control, and power modules, performing prototyping, testing, and EMC mitigation while collaborating with global teams to deliver life-saving medical technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in electrical design, preferably in medical device or imaging.
• Strong circuit design, PCB layout, and power electronics knowledge.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer and AutoCAD; soldering SMT/Through-hole.
• Experience with EMC testing and mitigation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design & development: create electrical schematics and layouts for imaging systems.
• Communication systems: integrate RS232/RS422/RS485/CAN into equipment.
• Motor control & power: design motor control systems and power supplies.
• Display integration: work with LED and LCD displays.
• Prototyping & testing: build prototypes and test fixtures; verify designs.
• PCB layout & schematic capture: use Altium Designer; document with AutoCAD drawings.
• Documentation: prepare detailed tech docs and verification reports.
• Collaborate globally: work with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
