Job summary

Belcan Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical/Embedded Hardware Engineer for medical device product development. The role focuses on PCBA design support, board bring-up, testing, and design verification in a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance energy-based medical devices, ensuring robust documentation and traceability throughout the design controls process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering or embedded hardware in medical devices.
• Hands-on experience with NPD, design verification, and product validation.
• Experience with PCBA design, schematic review, board bring-up, and debugging.
• Knowledge of analog/digital circuits, power electronics, sensors, and interfaces.
• Ability to generate test protocols, fixtures, and verification reports.
• Experience with regulated medical device development and design controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to document issues and actions.

Responsibilities

• Support NPD initiatives for energy-based medical devices.
• Contribute to design verification, validation readiness, and risk analyses.
• Lead PCBA design reviews, board bring-up, and debugging efforts.
• Create and maintain design control documentation and test reports.
