Job summary

Boom Supersonic is building advanced LV electrical systems for its frontier turbines in Denver. This role focuses on defining LV architecture, creating wiring diagrams, and owning the first-article build through commissioning on site.

You will work across mechanical, controls, and instrumentation teams to ensure safe, buildable designs that perform under demanding industrial conditions. Strong hands-on wiring and schematic skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and commissioning LV electrical systems for industrial equipment (turbines, compressors, generators).
• Hands-on fluency with motor control, instrumentation wiring, and control panel design in 480VAC and 12–28VDC environments.
• Ability to produce clean, buildable drawings that technicians can follow without extra guidance.

Responsibilities

• Define LV architecture, single-line diagrams, interface requirements, and concepts of operations during preliminary design.
• Produce wiring diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, load lists, and I/O lists through detailed design.
• Own first-article build, electrical checkout, troubleshooting, first energization, and commissioning during test.
