Resumo da oferta

Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop advanced lithium-ion battery systems for automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications. You will define system architecture, create schematics, select components, and perform thermal and power analyses to ensure safety and performance.

In this role you will collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams, lead validation efforts, and present technical findings to stakeholders.

Qualificações

  • 3+ years of experience in system-level design for lithium-ion battery packs or related electrical systems.
  • 4+ years of engineering experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial, or related sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in electrical system design and schematic capture.
  • Knowledge of electronics hardware thermal management and power dissipation analysis.
  • Experience with component selection and integration for high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with high-voltage safety standards, EMC/EMI practices, and grounding/shielding.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) with strong emphasis on practical application and systems design.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop Electrical System Architecture: Define and document high- and low-voltage distribution, interfaces, and protection systems for battery packs.
  • Create Electrical Schematics: Own the schematic design of battery pack systems, including sensors, contactors, fuses, connectors, harnesses, and control electronics.
  • Select and Integrate Electronics Hardware: Evaluate and specify components such as current sensors, power electronics, microcontrollers, and supporting hardware for safety, performance, and manufacturability.
  • Perform Thermal & Power Dissipation Analysis: Conduct hardware heating and power dissipation calculations to ensure reliable operation across environmental and load conditions.
  • Support Circuit Design & Validation: Contribute to the design, simulation, and bench testing of circuits for measurement, control, and protection.
