Actalent is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Cincinnati to design electrical systems for diverse projects, including lighting and control systems, as well as low and medium voltage distribution. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and prepare detailed drawings and specifications.

The role emphasizes professional growth, continuous learning, and ownership of meaningful responsibilities in a team-oriented environment. A bachelor’s degree and 3–7 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience designing electrical systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design and drafting.
• Experience with power distribution design (low & medium voltage).
• Experience with lighting and lighting control system design.

Responsibilities

• Participate as an active member of design teams to develop electrical system solutions for diverse projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for lighting and lighting control systems.
• Design low and medium voltage power distribution systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
• Perform load calculations and related analyses to size equipment and validate performance.
• Specify materials and equipment for electrical systems including power distribution and lighting.
• Develop control systems for mechanical and refrigeration applications.
• Use AutoCAD and Revit to create and maintain electrical design documentation.
• Coordinate design requirements with other disciplines and managers.
