OKSI seeks a lead Electrical Systems Engineer to design rugged, space-constrained platforms with mixed-signal PCBs, embedded controllers, sensors, and power subsystems.

You will own electrical workstreams through requirements and release, guide junior engineers, lead testing and troubleshooting, maintain documentation, and coordinate with manufacturing partners in Torrance, CA.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• At least five years of complex board design and testing experience.
• Experience with outsourced development partners and SWaP-constrained embedded systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design for rugged, space-constrained platforms (mixed-signal PCBs, embedded controllers, sensors, power subsystems).
• Own electrical workstreams from requirements to release.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead testing and troubleshooting.
• Maintain design documentation and traceability.
• Coordinate with manufacturing partners.

Lead electrical system design and development for rugged, space-constrained platforms, including mixed-signal PCBs, embedded controllers, sensor interfaces, and power subsystems. Own electrical workstreams from requirements through release, guide junior engineers, lead testing and troubleshooting, maintain design documentation, and coordinate with manufacturing partners.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and at least five years of experience in complex board design, testing, and troubleshooting, including product development with outsourced partners. Candidates should have expertise in SWaP-constrained embedded computing, common hardware interfaces, modern electronics, and electronic CAD tools; U.S. Person status is required.
