As an Electrical Engineer IV, you will be the senior electrical authority on the firm's largest and most complicated projects. You will stamp and seal the work, decide how the systems get designed and detailed, and stay with a project from the first feasibility study through final field inspection. When a project team hits an electrical problem it cannot solve, you are who they call. When a project needs someone in the room with the client or the reviewing agency, you are who goes.
This is a technical leadership seat, not a management track you have to take to keep growing. You will set the standards the discipline works to, mentor the engineers behind you, and weigh in on strategic decisions that reach past your own projects. The work includes first-of-their-kind designs: renewable energy integration, smart grid, advanced control systems. Progressive is employee owned, so the projects you win and deliver build value in a stake that is actually yours.
Each individual’s background, knowledge, ability, and experience contributes to strengthening our organization and projects. Our dedication to diversity includes company provided training and education, equitable recruitment, a grassroots employee DEI committee, and robust community partnerships.
