Job summary

Indorama Ventures is seeking a Summer 2025 Electrical Engineer Intern in Port Neches, Texas. The program runs May to August and provides structured training with a focus on hands-on engineering in Project Engineering or Reliability Engineering under supervision.

You must be enrolled full-time as a junior or senior in an accredited four-year college, pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher, able to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Full-time college student by Spring 2025, pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Able to commit to the 10-week summer program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the basic principles of chemical plant manufacturing and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to assigned area under supervision.
• Assist in project and day-to-day engineering tasks in Project or Reliability Engineering.
• Present a project assignment to Site Leadership Team at internship end.
• Maintain safety, GMP, health and environmental requirements compliance.
