Job summary

Indorama Ventures – Indovinya is offering a Summer 2025 Electrical Engineer Intern program. It runs May to August for full-time students at a four-year college or university, with a structured plan to equip interns for a successful career.

Under supervision, interns provide technical support, join either Project Engineering or Reliability Engineering, and present a final project to site leadership. A 10-week commitment, TWIC readiness, and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Full-time college student by Spring 2025 (Junior or Senior)
• GPA 3.0 or higher required
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship
• Must possess or obtain TWIC card
• Proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs
• Knowledge of basic principles of chemical plant manufacturing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty
• Able to solve complex problems and build relationships across org lines
• Willing to commit to the 10-week summer program
• Safety, environmental, quality and responsible care awareness required

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to assigned area(s) under supervision
• Assist engineers with project and daily engineering tasks
• Provide status updates to mentor/engineer on project assignments
• Ensure activities comply with the integrated management system (safety, GMP, environment)
• Work overtime if needed to meet production objectives
• Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds
• Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives and trainings
• Present a project assignment presentation to Site Leadership Team at internship end
• Maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
