Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is hiring electrical engineering interns for co-op terms in Findlay, Ohio and Martinez, California. The program offers exposure to E&I project engineering, reliability, SIS, and process control projects within refining operations.

Interns will develop project management and technical skills, work across multiple refinery areas, and gain experience presenting results in a professional setting. Positions available spring, summer, and fall terms.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work on Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) project engineering in refinery settings.
• Support area teams and develop project management skills (scope, cost, schedule).
• Assist with reliability, SIS, and process control projects and troubleshooting.
