Corning Incorporated is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 at Sullivan Park. The role involves hands-on exposure to controls engineering, instrumentation, sensors, and equipment testing within a research and development environment.

You will work with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to design, assemble, test, and improve prototype equipment and related electrical systems, while developing documentation and supporting cross‑functional projects.

Qualificações

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Support electrical and controls-related activities for prototype equipment.
• Assist design, assembly, testing, debugging, and improvement of prototype equipment and control systems.
• Help troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and controls issues with engineers and technicians.
• Develop and implement improvements to equipment controls and system performance.
• Collect, organize, and analyze technical data to support decisions and testing.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation (schematics, procedures, specs).
• Assist in selecting sensors, instruments, and control hardware for R&D.
