Job summary

GBA Life Sciences invites engineering students to join our team as Electrical Engineering Interns in Broomfield, CO (and Lenexa, KS). You’ll work with architects, engineers, and field specialists on designing mechanical and electrical systems for bio-pharma facilities.

Responsibilities include drafting construction documents, reviewing drawings and RFIs, and verifying permits and codes. Ideal candidates are pursuing an E.E. or related degree, with CAD tools and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel is preferred.
• Minimum 2.7 GPA strongly preferred; finish at least two years of school.

Job: Electrical Engineering Intern - Life Sciences Location: Broomfield, CO Life Sciences Group at GBA is welcoming engineering students to join our team as interns in Lenexa, KS or Broomfield, CO. Life Sciences serves many of the world's top 20 bio-pharma companies. Our Life Science group is a collaborative team of engineers and architects focused on the design of mechanical and electrical systems within the bio-pharma industry. Life Sciences offers the opportunity to work within an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, project managers, and construction managers. What You’ll Do

• Preparing construction documents for various systems
• Review of shop drawings and RFI's
• Verification of permitting and code requirements
• Facility evaluations and engineering studies
• Trouble shooting and commissioning
• Other fun duties as assigned!

What You’ll Bring

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering or other related field from accredited program.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel software is preferred
• 2.7 GPA strongly preferred
• Finished at least two years of school
• Prior Internship is and/or related experience is a plus
• Involved in campus, community, and other volunteer activities and/ or organization
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Compensation

Pay range: $24/hr-$26.50/hr based on years completed of school prior to internship beginning.
